This is a press release and includes no original reporting.

The 20th annual Brew HaHa beer tasting and entertainment fundraiser at JA Nugget Casino Resort is set for Friday, Feb. 13 at 8 p.m. Brew HaHa will have more than 120 types of craft and microbrews to try for unlimited tastings, and live music by Jelly Bread and Mojo Green to keep the party going.

The event raises critical funding for the Sierra Arts Foundation in Northern Nevada. In 2014, the event raised more than $44,000, allowing Sierra Arts Foundation to provide support for area artists and community arts programs, such as Arts in Education, the Elder Care Concert Series and the Arts integration Project.

“Brew HaHa is our biggest fundraiser of the year,” said Stacey Spain, Executive Director of Sierra Arts Foundation. “We wouldn’t be able to continue many of our community programs without the financial support we receive from this event.”

JA Nugget works closely with Sierra Arts Foundation to put on the event each year. Local beverage distributors donate all the beer for the event and local businesses donate raffle prizes.

“It’s wonderful to see this event raise the money necessary to continue and support arts programs in our community,” said Carlton Geer, President and CEO of JA Nugget.
