This is a press release and has no original reporting.

A committee of young professionals is teaming up with Craft Wine & Beer to host a fundraiser for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northern Nevada (BBBSNN) on Thursday, April 3.

For a donation of just $15, guests will receive two glasses of wine or beer. BoDawgs hot dog food truck will be on site, and there will be raffle prizes from Napa Sonoma and Coffeebar.

Proceeds for the Beer Social will go toward BBBSNN’s mentoring program, which matches caring, adult mentors with at-risk children in Reno, Sparks, North Valleys and the Carson Valley. It takes approximately $1,000 to support one match for one year, so fundraisers like these are vital to keep the program going, contributing to brighter futures, better schools and a stronger community for all.

Who: Young Professionals Committee (YPC)
What: “Beer Social” Fundraiser for BBBSNN
Where: Craft Wine & Beer, 22 Martin St. in Midtown
